4-(2-chlor-4-nitrophenoxy)- phenoxyalkancarbonsäure-Derivate der Formel <IMAGE> in welcher R für Wasserstoff oder Alkyl, R¹ für Alkoxy, das ein- oder mehrfach durch Hydroxyl, Halogen, Alkoxy, Alkoxy-alkoxy, Alkylthio, Amino, Monoalkylamino, Dialkylamino oder Carbonyl-N-alkyl- N-aryl substituiert ist, für Hydroxy-alkenoxy, Hydroxy-alkinoxy, Hydroxylamino, einen stickstoffhaltigen Heterocyclus, dessen Ring durch weitere Hetero-atome unterbrochen sein kann und/oder gegebenenfalls durch Alkyl oder Halogen substituiert sein kann, Arylamino bzw.
