Schaumstoffblöcke (50), deren Höhe etwa ihrer Breite entspricht, werden dadurch hergestellt, dass das Reaktionsgemisch in einen Zwischenlagerungstrog (33) anreagieren gelassen wird, dann der Aufschäumzone (39) aufgegeben und zwischen 0° und 60° absärts geneigt geführt wird, und dass entlang der Aufschäumzone (39) die Oberfläche egalisiert wird.
