1. A process for placing an insulating structure made up elastic and, more specially, non-flammable insulating material between a floor structure and a ceiling under it and/or a separating wall, more specially over such a wall, characterized in that a number of insulating boards (1) made up of elastic insulating material, more specially glass or mineral fibres, are placed one on top of each other in a stack thicker than the distance between the floor structure and the ceiling under it and/or the separating wall, this stack is forced together to a thickness less than the distance between the floor structure and the ceiling under it and/or the separating wall and, in this condition, is placed at the desired position between the floor structure and the ceiling under it and/or the separating wall and then it is freed from the force acting on it and forcing it together.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Einsetzen einer aus elastischem, vorzugsweise nicht brennbaren Dämmaterial bestehende Abschottung zwischen Rohdecke und Unterdecke und/oder Trennwand, vorzugsweise im Bereich einer Trennwand werden mehrere vorzugsweise aus Glas- oder Mineralfasern bestehende Dämmplatten (1) zu einem Stapel vereinigt. Dieser Stapel wird auf eine den Abstand zwischen den beiden Deckenflächen unterschreitende Stärke zusammengepreßt und in diesem zusammengerpreßten Zustand an die gewünschte Stelle eingebracht, wo der den Stapel zusammenpreßende Preßdruck aufgehoben wird. Die aus dem zusammengepreßten Dämmplattenstapel bestehende Abschottung ist durch Bänder (2) oder Manschetten fixiert, die nach dem Einsetzen des Stapels durchtrennt, gelöst oder abgezogen werden.
