[origin: US4192147A] This invention relates to an arrangement for the automatic distribution in free air of metered quantities of the liquid phase of a cryogenic fluid, and comprises a container to hold the liquid phase, a system to control the supply to the said container, metering means, forced discharge means, means for distributing the cryogenic liquid, and a system for controlling the said metering member and the said discharge means. The invention is applicable in particular to the casting of metals, to the production of articles formed from different metals, and to the moulding of articles in series.

L'invention concerne la distribution à l'air libre, en quantité dosée et de façon automatique, de la phase liquide d'un fluide cryogénique. Le dispositif comporte une capacité de retenue (10) de la phase liquide, un système de commande (20) de l'alimentation de ladite capacité, des moyens de dosage (30), d'évacuation forcée (40), de distribution (50) du liquide cryogénique et un système de commande (60) dudit organe de dosage et desdits moyens d'évacuation. L'invention s'applique, en particulier, à la coulée des métaux, à la fabrication de pièces formées de métaux différents et au moulage de pièces en série.
