[origin: ES471504A1] Polyurethane is present as a solid phase in a liquid polyorganosiloxane, preferably being formed therein by mixing a polyhydroxy-containing material with the polysiloxane followed by addition of a polyisocyanate. If the polyorganosiloxane contains hydroxyl groups it can be chemically bonded to the polyurethane. The composition can be cured to solid plastic masses of superior properties by adding a curing agent for the polysiloxane.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft mit Polyurethan modifizierte Polysiloxane, welche dadurch gekennzeichnet sind, dass Polysiloxan und Polyurethan als unterscheidbare Phasen, gegebenenfalls mit teilweise chemischer und/oder physikalischer Bindung aneinander, vorliegen. Die mit Polyurethan gefüllten Organopolysiloxan-Massen werden durch intensives Vermischen der Organopolysiloxan-Flüssigkeit mit einem Di- bzw. Polyol und nachfolgende Zugabe eines Diisocyanates zu dieser Mischung hergestellt. Die Mischungen können von etwa 3 bis 95 Gew.% Polyurethan - bezogen auf die Gesamtmischung - enthalten.
