[origin: US4197389A] A hardening agent for an aqueous epoxy resin composition comprising a reaction product of (a) at least one polyepoxide compound, (b) at least one polyalkylene polyether polyol and (c) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of aliphatic, cycloaliphatic and heterocyclic polyamine and wherein component (c) additionally may be reacted with (d) an unsaturated compound before or after the reaction with the adduct of components (a) and (b), process for preparing said hardening agent and hardenable film forming coating compositions comprising as essential ingredients said hardening agent, at least one polyfunctional epoxy compound (a) and water.

Härtungsmittel, das ein Umsetzungsprodukt aus a) mindestens einer Polyepoxydverbindung, b) mindestens einem Polyalkylenpolyätherpolyol und c) mindestens einem Polyamin ist, wobei an die reaktiven Gruppen des Polyamins c) noch d) zur Addition befähigte ungesättigte Verbindungen addiert sind, einem Verfahren zur Herstellung der Härtungsmittel, wobei das Addukt aus den Komponenten a) und b), hergestellt in Gegenwart eines BF3-Aminkomplexes als Katalysator, entweder mit c) einer Aminverbindung der Gruppe c1) mindestens eines Polyamins und c2) einem Addukt von c1) mit d) einer ungesättigten Komponente der Formel HC(R1) = C(R2)-X, wobei R1 = H, -CH3, -C2H5, R2 = H, -CH3 und X = -CN, -COOH, -COOCH3, -COOC2H5, -COOC3H7, -COOC4H9, -CONH2, bedeutet, umgesetzt wird, oder das Reaktionsprodukt der Komponenten a), b) und c1) mit d) einer ungesättigten Verbindung der Formel HC(R1) = C(R2)-X umgesetzt wird unddie Verwendung der Härtungsmittel zusammen mit polyfunktionellen Epoxydverbindungen a) mit Wasser zur Herstellung von aushärtbaren Dispersionen als Beschichtungs- oder Überzugsmittel.
