Abstract (en)
To produce one-sidedly hot-galvanised sheets of metal, in particular strips of steel as required by the automotive industry, hitherto the zinc-free side of the sheets has either been covered up before galvanisation or been degalvanised after galvanisation. To avoid these previously necessary measures of covering up or degalvanisation, two superposed sheets or strips (3, 4) are welded together at the edges and dipped in that doubled state into a bath of molten zinc, and then the strips are debeaded and separated. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Um einseitig feuerverzinkte Bleche, insbesondere Bänder aus Stahl, wie sie für die Autoindustrie benötigt werden, herzustellen, hat man bisher die zinkfreie Seite der Bleche entweder durch ein Abdeckmittel vor dem Verzinken geschützt oder nach dem Verzinken wieder entzinkt. Um diese bisher notwendigen Massnahmen des Abdeckens bzw. Entzinkens zu vermeiden, werden zwei aufeinandergelegte Bleche oder Bänder (3, 4) an den Kanten verschweisst und die solcherart gedoppelten Bleche oder Bänder in ein Bad aus schmelzflüssigem Zink getaucht, worauf die Bänder besäumt und getrennt werden.
