Abstract (en)
An ampule for long-term storage of a polymerizable substance, such as a monomer of an aliphatic cyanoacrylate. First sealing means (28), for sealing the ampule, provides access to the enclosed contents by means of a needle (42). Second sealing means (50) comprising piston means engages the ampule interior wall (24). The piston means is constructed and arranged to inhibit catalyzation of the polymerizable substance contained in the ampule.
