1. Apparatus for cooking of heating food in a cooking chamber (1), which is equipped with a hot air recirculating means (4) and a hinged closing cover (2) for the loading opening thereof, and of which the base of the cooking chamber (1) is constructed for the reception of water for which there is provided a heating device (11), characterized by the following features : - the cooking chamber (1) is constructed for the reception of such a quantity of water that cooking of food can be carried out in the water therein, - the loading opening is arranged at the top of the cooking chamber (1), - the air recirculating means (4) together with an air heating element (6) is mounted on the closing cover (2), - the heating device (11) for the water content of the cooking chamber is arranged below the base of the cooking chamber.

Gerät zum Garen bzw. Erhitzen von Eßwaren in einem Garraum (1), der mit einem Heißluftumwälzer (4) und einer diesen zugeordneten elektrischen Heizeinrichtung (6) bestückt und mit einem angelenkten Verschlußdeckel (2) für dessen Beschickungsöffnung versehen ist. Damit in diesem Gerät neben dem Erwärmen der Speisen mittels Heißluft auch ein Garen der Speisen mittels Kochen, Dämpfen, Braten oder Backen durchführbar ist, ist die Beschickungsöffnung für den Garraum (1) oberseitig angeordnet und der Garraum ist mit einem Wasserzu- und -ablauf (10, 10') sowie einer zusätzlichen Beheizung (11) versehen.
