Il comprend une antenne d'émission composée de deux transducteurs (T1) et (Tn) émettant en synchronisme ou en opposition de phase et ayant une longueur sensiblement égale à l'antenne de réception composée de transducteurs T1, T2 ... Tn avec des déphaseurs à prises multipes D1, D2 ... Dn. Les voies sont centrées sur les maximums d'émission. L'invention peut être utilisée pour la détection de cibles par sonar.
