1. A multipolar low voltage circuit breaker comprising contact arms and a switching shaft (14) which carries the contact arms and has a polygonal profile, said shaft being mounted in recesses (30) in the partition walls (22) of a casing of insulating material (2) and in inserts (35) which close these recesses, wherein there are arranged on the switching shaft (14), bearing bodies (23) having an opening (24) corresponding to the polygonal profile of the shaft (14), and having an outer bearing surface (25) and a collar (27) which projects beyond the bearing surface (25) and is associated with a recess of a respectively assigned partition and insert, characterized in that the bearing bodies (23) are axially displaceable on the switching shaft (14) and that each recess is formed as a slot (32, 37) which overlaps the single collar (27) present.

Ein Niederspannungs-Leistungsschalter (1) ist mehrpolig ausgebildet und besitzt eine in Ausnehmungen der Trennwände (22) eines Isolierstoffgehäuses (2) gelagerte Schaltwell (14). Die Ausnehmungen der Trennwände (22) sind durch Einsatzstücke (35) verschlossen. Auf der Schaltwelle (14) sind axial verschiebbare Lagerkörper (23) mit einer äußeren Lagerfläche (25) sowie mit einem über die Lagerfläche vorstehenden Bund (27) angeordnet, und die Lagerflächen (31) der Trennwände (22) und der Einsatzstücke (35) besitzen eine dem Bund (27) entsprechende Nut (32, 37). Die Lagerkörper ermöglichen eine gegen den Durchtritt von Schaltgasen abgedichtete Lagerung der Schaltwell zugleich mit einer Erhöhung der Sicherheit gegen die Bildung von elektrischen Kriechwegen.
