1. Heat exchanger, for the evaporation or condensation of coolant in the coolant circuit of a heat pump driven by a compressor, in which two co-axially arranged tubes (1, 2) are arranged, of which a first tube (1) displays continuously equal diameter and the coolant is conducted in the free flow cross-section between both the tubes as well as a heat carrier for the heat exchange with the coolant is conducted in the inner tube (2), wherein the coolant first appears as wet vapour and then as superheated gas, characterized thereby, that the inner tube (2) changes through a conical tube portion (4) into a tube portion (3) of greater diameter and that the wet vapour is conducted in the larger and the superheated gas in the smaller flow cross-section.

Wärmeübertrager zum Verdampfen oder Kondensieren von Kältemittel im Kältemittelkreislauf einer Wärmepumpe, in dem das Kältemittel als Naßdampf und entfernt davon als überhitztes Gas auftritt. Um zu erreichen, daß mit einfachen Mitteln eine Steigerung des Wärmeübergangs zwischen dem Kältemittel und dem damit in Wärmeautausch tretenden Wämeübertrager erreicht wird, ist der freie Strömungsquerschnitt (1, 5) für das Kältemittel im Naßdampfbereich größer als im Bereich (1, 3) für das überhitzte Gas.
