A floor sealing arrangement for sliding doors, wherein a plastic strip (8) in the form of an inherently stiff sheet is arranged at the foot of the door in a gap (11) between a bar (2) forming the base of the door and a covering strip (9) attached laterally thereto, this gap being open at the bottom and the strip (8) being arranged so that it cannot be displaced longitudinally but its height may be adjusted, resting on the floor solely under its own weight and having at least two vertical slits (16) through each of which a guiding and spacing bolt (14) passes, each of these guiding and spacing bolts (14) engaging on one side in a bore in the covering strip (9) and being braced via its head against the bar (2) at the foot of the door on the other side, and being equipped with shoulders, the first shoulder being braced against the inner face of the covering strip (9) to determine the width of the gap, and the second shoulder (21) disposed inside the gap resting on the strip (8) and being contrived in such a way that the strip (8) disposed in the gap so that it will not jam.
