Abstract (en)
A method and a device making it possible to form batches of fragile, flat objects in stacks of a predetermined length, which objects are arranged edgeways in joined rows (1). These stacks of objects are intended to be packaged in a subsequent operation. The device consists essentially of a set of stops (5,9) and of a transverse pusher (6), which is capable of pushing, over a lateral area, the objects selected to form the desired stack without breaking them. The invention will mainly be employed in the packing of biscuits and particularly fragile and coarse objects whose dimensions are poorly defined. <IMAGE>

Un procédé et un dispositif permettant de regrouper en piles de longueur déterminée des objets plats, fragiles, se présentant sur champ en rangées jointives (1). Ces piles d'objets sont destinées à être empaquetées dans une opération ultérieure. Le dispositif consiste essentiellement en un jeu de butées (5, 9) et de poussoir transversal (6), capable de pousser sur une aire latérale sans les briser les objets sélectionnés pour former la pile souhaitée. L'invention trouvera sa principale utilisation dans l'emballage des biscottes, objets particulièrement fragiles, rugueux, et de dimensions mal définies.
