1. Posttensioned steel reinforced concrete cable, consisting of steel tendons (16) in conduits (12) which are embedded in concrete, and being characterized in that the concrete is covered by a steel jacket tube (10) which during construction serves as lost form, and that the conduits (12) which run through steel partitions (11) consist of steel pipes which can be stressed by tension or compression.

Zur Herstellung eines vorgespannten Stahlbetonseils werden in einem Außenmantelrohr (10) Hüllrohre (12) für die Aufnahme der Spannstähle (16) angeordnet und der Innenraum des Außenmantelrohres (10) ausbetoniert. Nach dem Spannen der Spannstähle (16) werden die Hüllrohre (12) durch Injektion ausbetoniert. Bei einem solchen Stahlbetonseil dient das Außenmantelrohr (10) als verlorene Schalung und als Schutz für das Stahlbetonseil. Ein derartiges Stahlbetonseil findet für Tragseile und Hängestäbe einer Hängebrücke Verwendung.
