Abstract (en)

1. Heat-insulating sectional member, more especially to be used for door frames or window frames or the like, consisting of two sectional rails (1, 2) of metal, more especially those of aluminium, which are interconnected by two sectional connecting strips (6, 7) consisting of heat-insulating material, the connecting strips (6, 7) being anchored in undercut channels (5) of the sectional rails (1, 2) with securing strips (8) of a deformable material, characterised in that the securing strips (8) consist of soft aluminium and are swaged or indented continuously or at intervals throughout their length.
