Hakenkörper (17, 41) aufweisende Karabinerhaken (14, 40, 42, 54, 56, 60) werden mit einer Fallbremse (13) versehen, mit der absturzgefährdete Personen an Haltegerüsten (16) gesichert werden können. Die Fallbremse (13) hat einen Bremsenkörper (21, 43, 61) und ein daran angeordnetes Klemmstück (23, 46, 46'), zwischen denen ein Seil (15) eingeklemmt ist und erst bei Überschreiten einer durch das Klemmstück (23, 46, 46') festgelegten Klemmkraft reibend durchrutscht. Um Fehleinstellungen der Fallbremse (13) zu vermeiden und deren Handhabbarkeit zu verbessern, ist die Anordnung des Klemmstücks (23, 46, 46') am Bremsenkörper (21, 43, 61) unverstellbar und diese ist mit dem Hakenkörper (17, 41) einstückig.
