Abstract (en)
Fabric for stiffening garment collars, characterized in that, with a view to obtaining a collar with the tips curved in the same direction, the fabric comprises two cloths of parallel yams called main yams, interwoven in a known manner, said cloths being juxtaposed and linked one to the other according to a line corresponding substantially to the symmetry axis of the reinforced collar to be made and in that the yarns of one cloth are right-hand torsion yams whereas those of the other one are left-hand torsion yarns.

Tissu pour triplure de col de vêtements, caractérisé en ce que, en vue d'obtenir un col dont les deux pointes s'incurvent dans le même sens, le tissu comporte deux nappes de fils parallèles dits fils principaux, liés entre eux de façon en elle-même connue, lesdites nappes étant juxtaposées et liées entre elles de part et d'autre d'une ligne correspondant sensiblement à l'axe de symétrie du col renforcé à constituer et que les fils de l'une d'elles sont des fils de torsion droite tandis que ceux de l'autre sont de torsion gauche.
