The cleaning machine has a container, the base of which is inclined for the continuous passage of the castings from an end inlet opening to an opposite discharge opening and performs an oscillating movement, circulating the castings, about the longitudinal axis of the container, and has a spray device which is arranged above the container and whose cleaning jets are directed through an opening into the container, the container being a flexible, loosely sagging troughed belt (1) whose longitudinal margins (2) are fastened to an attachment (4) and whose side walls can be moved up and down in opposite directions by a drive (7) acting on the attachment. <IMAGE>

Putzmaschine für Gußstücke und andere Werkstücke mit einem Behälter, dessen Boden für den kontinuierlichen Durchlauf der Gußstücke von einer stirnseitigen Einfüllöffnung zu einer gegenüberliegenden Austragöffnung geneigt ist und eine die Gußstücke umwälzende, oszillierende Bewegung um die Längsachse des Behälters ausführt, und mit einer oberhalb des Behälters angeordneten Strahleinrichtung, deren Putzstrahlen durch eine Öffnung in den Behälter gerichtet sind, wobei der Behälter ein flexibles, schlaff durchhängendes Muldenband (1) ist, dessen Längsränder (2) an einer Aufhängung (4) befestigt und dessen Seitenwände durch einen auf die Aufhängung wirkenden Antrieb (7) gegensinnig auf und ab bewegbar sind.
