[origin: EP0005343A2] A wind-propelled vehicle, e.g. a surfboard of the kind that comprises an unstayed mast connected to the board through a joint which will provide universal-type movement of the mast. The mast is curved, the booms form together an essentially rigid, annular assembly and the connection between the booms and the mast is such that no relative angular displacement is possible around an upright axis extending through the connection between them.
