Abstract (en)
Locking device for a luggage comprised of a button and a cover assembled by a hinge. This devices comprises two parts, a box (1) and a catch (4), The chest or box contains a locking mechanism controlled by a push-button (2), formed substantially by two parallel flat plates spaced apart by trigger gards, one of these plates comprising openings (3) for the hasps (5) of the catch. The locking mechanism comprises inside the chest a rod provided at its middle part with an opening wherein the triangular end of the pusher penetrates and is also provided with blocks having openings into which the hasps penetrate. An alternative of the mechanism comprises two rods having the same shape and length located on either of the pusher which controls their translation. The edge (8) of he chest forms an element at the periphery of the luggage and comprises, at its middle part a set back (6) in the middle of which is arranged the push button (2), the flat faces (7) at the end of the set back being provided with means adapted for fitting a handle for transport the luggage.

Dispositif de fermeture d'un bagage qui est constitué d'un fond et d'un couvercle assemblés par une charnière. Ce dispositif comporte deux parties, un coffre (1) et une gâche (4). Le coffre contient un mécanisme de fermeture commandé par un bouton poussoir (2), il est formé essentiellement de deux plaques planes et parallèles dont l'écartement est maintenu par des pontets, l'une de ces plaques comportant des ouvertures (3) pour les moraillons (5) de la gâche. Le mécanisme de fermeture comporte à l'intérieur du coffre une tige pourvue dans sa partie médiane d'une ouverture dans laquelle pénètre l'extrémité triangulaire d'un poussoir ainsi que de taquets munis d'ouvertures dans lesquelles pénètrent les moraillons. Une variante du mécanisme comporte deux tiges de forme et de longueur égales situées de part et d'autre du poussoir qui commande leur translation. Le chant (8) du coffre forme un élément de la périphérie du bagage et comporte, dans sa partie médiane, un décrochement (6), au milieu duquel est disposé le bouton poussoir (2), les faces planes (7) d'extrémité du décrochement étant pourvues de moyens aptes à retenir une poignée de transport du bagage.
