[origin: WO7800006A1] A method and apparatus for the successive imaging, by optical means, of a plurality of extracts of documents (17) onto a radiation-sensitive carrier (6, 7) to produce a prearranged compiled copy comprises selecting one of the extracts and the part of the carrier onto which the extract is to be transcribed and casting an image of the said extract onto the said part. This cycle of operations is repeated until the carrier is completely filled-in and/or all the extracts are transcribed, the extracts cast onto the sensitive carrier being able to be developed and fixed individually or as a whole.

Procede et appareil pour transcrire successivement, par des moyens optiques, sur un support (6, 7) sensible aux radiations, selon un arrangement predetermine, une pluralite d'extraits de documents (17): on selectionne un des extraits a transcrire, on determine la portion de support (6, 7) sur laquelle on desire transcrire ledit extrait et on projette une image dudit extrait sur ladite portion, le cycle d'operations susmentionne etant repete jusqu'a ce que ledit support soit completement rempli et/ou l'ensemble desdits extraits soit transcrit, les extraits projetes sur le support sensible pouvant etre individuellement ou globalement developpes et fixes.
