Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0007457A1] 1. A device for transmitting traction and braking forces in a rail based driving vehicle comprising an electric driving motor (2) which is suspended in the bogie (1) or the car body (6), wherein, on each side of the driving motor (2) an attachment point (8) located on a bracket (7) below the car body (6), is connected to an attachment point (9) on the bogie (1) located below the driving motor (2) by means of two series connected rigid members (10, 11) and moreover a connecting rod (13) is provided between the member systems (10, 11) located on both sides of the driving motor (2) characterized in that the attachment point (8), located on the bracket (7), is arranged at approximately the same level and the same longitudinal distance with respect to the car body (6) as the point (9) of attachment to the bogie (1), and that at these two attachment points (8, 9) on each side of the driving motor there is in each case attached an articulation point of the two members which are connected to one another at the second articulation point (12) and which are designed as guide rods (10, 11), whereas the connecting rod (13) connects together the second articulation points (12) of the two articulation systems, which points are arranged at the same longitudinal distance on the two sides of the driving motor (2) and are connected to one another.
