1. Fitting made of wood, for doors or the like, for connecting two parts rotatably to at least one reinforcing insert (5, 15), made of resistant material, in the form of a sleeve with a central recess to receive and support a pin (3), characterized in that the reinforcing insert (5, 15) has, in a way known per se, at its outer exposed end a groove-like annular space (7) which is closed towards the free end and the outer leg (8) of which engages with its free length into a groove (9) provided in the wood, the outer free end of the reinforcing insert (5, 15) projecting beyond the edge of the fitting made of wood and constituting a sliding face for the oppositely moving parts, in such a way that either the end faces of two reinforcing inserts (5) lying opposite one another slide on one another or the side faces of one reinforcing insert (15) are mounted rotatably in a corresponding slip ring (18) of the other part.

Um bei einem aus Holz bestehenden Beschlag für Türen od. dgl. die erforderliche Kraftübertragung ohne Zerstörung des Holzes zu erreichen, wird der einzusetzende Verstärkungseinsatz an seinem freien Ende mit einem hohlkehlenartigen Ringraum (7) ausgerüstet, wobei der Außenschenkel des Ringraumes in eine im Holz ausgearbeitete Nut (9) eingreift. Vorzugsweise besteht der Verstärkungseinsatz aus Kunststoff, wobei das äußere freie Ende des Verstärkungseinsatzes die Gleitflächen von sich aufeinander bewegenden Bauteilen bildet.
