[origin: US4364120A] A phonograph pickup cartridge of moving coil type comprises a cartridge body and a stylus assembly detachably mounted on the body. The body includes a housing which firmly holds a permanent magnet and a pair of pole pieces. Magnetic gaps are defined between the pair of pole pieces in the region of the lower opening of housing. The housing carries a plurality of electrical terminal pins, which have their one end projecting externally from the rear end of the housing and which have their other end projecting through the bottom of the housing. The stylus assembly includes a knob member which supports a stylus subassembly having an armature which carries a pair of coils, and which also supports a plurality of electrical connectors which are adapted to be detachably coupled with the terminal pins. The ends of the coils are electrically connected with the connectors. When the terminal pins are engaged with the connectors, the pair of coils on the stylus assembly are properly disposed in the magnetic gaps defined between the pole pieces on the body.

Ein dynamischer Tonabnehmerkopf für einen Plattenspieler umfaßt einen Tonabnehmerkopfkörper und eine Nadel-Baugruppe, die lösbar am Körper montiert ist. Der Körper umfaßt ein Gehäuse, das einen Permanentmagneten und zwei Polschuhe stramm festhält. Zwischen den beiden Polschuhen im Bereich der unteren Öffnung des Gehäuses sind Magnetspalte definiert. Das Gehäuse trägt eine Mehrzahl von elektrischen Kontaktstiften, deren eines Ende extern vom hinteren Ende des Gehäuses vorsteht und deren anderes Ende durch die Bodenplatte des Gehäuses vorsteht. Die Nadel-Baugruppe umfaßt einen knopfartigen Steckkörper, der eine Nadel-Untergruppe mit einem Anker trägt, der seinerseits zwei Spulen trägt. Der Steckkörper weist weiterhin eine Mehrzahl elektrischer Verbindungsbuchsen auf, die lösbar mit den Kontaktstiften gekoppelt werden können. Die Enden der Spulen sind elektrisch mit den Kontaktbuchsen verbunden. Wenn die Kontaktstifte in die Kontaktbuschsen eingreifen, sind die beiden Spulen auf der Nadel-Baugruppe präzise in den Magnetspalten zwischen den Polschuhen am Körper angeordnet.
