Tamper-proof label holder, in particular address holder for bags (S) or other similar objects, which serves both as a sealing device or seal and as an information carrier, comprising a first part or case (1) comprising a fastening device (10) for holding the extreme ends of a cord (11) of a suitable length and a second part (2) forming the cover of the said first part, characterized by the fact that said first part (1) bears a swivelling hook device (12) which can be prevented from turning by the said second part or cover (2) and that the second part comprises a means (32-35) of receiving a sealing device (38) immobilizing it in a tamper-proof fashion with respect ot the first part in the closed position of the label holder.
