1. Casing with a pressure switch for electrical appliances, particularly for hand-held and guided appliances such as electric shavers, toothbrushes, etc. with a casing wall (1) having perforations (2) and on the inside thereof and at least in the vicinity of an electric switch (5, 6) is covered with a foil or plate (4) made from plastic or a rubber-like material and is partly joined, e.g. bonded thereto, said foil or plate (4) being provided on one side with a plurality of stud or tongue-like projections (3) projecting over a surface of the foil or plate (4) and which are so arranged according to number and size that they extend through the perforations (2) of casing wall (1) and project by a small amount over the outer surface and which in the vicinity of the switch are displaceable into the perforations (2) in order, for operating the pressure switch (5, 6), to permit an inward curvature of the foil or plate (4), the casing wall (1) having in the vicinity of switch (5, 6) an inwardly directed indentation (8).

Bei Einem Elektrorasierer, einer elektrischen Zahnbürste, einer Filmkamera oder dergleichen ist das als elastische Folie ausgebildete Betätigungsteil (4) eines elektrischen Schalters (5, 6, 7, 14, 15) Teil des Gerätegehäuses (1,10), wobei das steife Gerätegehäuse (1, 10) zumindest im Bereich des Schalters Perforierungen (2) aufweist, durch die einstückig mit dem Betätigungsteil (4) ausgebildete Noppen (3) nach außen zu hindurchragen und über die Außenfläche des Gerätegehäuses (1, 10) hervorstehen. Werden diese Noppen (3) nach innen gedrückt, so bewirkt das Betätigungsteil (4) den gewünschten elektrischen Schaltvorgang. Da das Betätigungsteil (4), ausgenommen im Bereich des Schalters (5, 6, 7, 14, 15), fest mit dem Gerätegehäuse (1, 10) verklebt, verschweißt oder einstückig mit diesem ausgebildet ist, können weder Feuchtigkeit noch Staub in das Gehäuseinnere eindringen.
