[origin: ES485892A1] In a tiltable converter arrangement with a carrying ring surrounding the converter vessel at a distance and having two carrying trunnions, the converter vessel is movably connected with the carrying ring by articulately connected brackets. The converter vessel is mounted in the carrying ring by means of three of these brackets that are inclined towards the longitudinal axis of the converter vessel and whose joints are each mounted to the converter vessel and to the carrying ring. The three brackets are pivotable in the plane laid through their longitudinal or central axes and the longitudinal axis of the converter vessel, which plane is at a right angle to the axis of the carrying trunnions.

Bei einem kippbaren Konverter mit einem das Konvertergefäß im Abstand umgebenden Tragring, welcher zwei diametral gegenüberliegende Tragzapfen aufweist, ist das Konvertergefäß mit dem Tragring durch Zug und Druck aufnehmende Verbindungsmittel beweglich verbunden. Um Verformungen des Konvertergefäßes in jeder Richtung zuzulassen, ist das Konvertergefäß (1) in dem Tragring (2) mittels dreier zur Längsachse (13) des Konvertergefäßes geneigter Gelenklaschen (4) gelagert, deren Gelenke (5,6) jeweils an dem Konvertergefäß (1) und am Tragring (2) montiert sind, wobei die Gelenklaschen in der durch ihre Längs- bzw. Mittelachse (12) und die Längsachse (13) des Konvertergefäßes gebildeten Ebene schwenkbar sind.
