Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0012150A1] 1. Folding door for showering cabinets consisting of several leaf parts (1) comprising joints arranged on the adjacent vertical longitudinal edge of said leaf parts, each consisting of a hollow cylindrical part (4) on one longitudinal edge of one of the leaf parts and one on the circumference of the hollow cylindrical part (4) at least partly touching shell-type part (5) on one of the longitudinal edges of one of the outer leaf parts, whereby at the upper and lower ends of the joints plug parts (6) are provided, said plug parts are releasably fastened in the hollow cylindrical part (4) and with a head part (7) rise above the end face of the parts (4, 5) and secure these against axial displacement characterized in that the shell-type part (5) surrounds the hollow cylindrical part (4) by less than 180 degrees of its circumference and the head part (7) of the plug parts (6) is formed to be a cap encompassing the end faces of the parts (4, 5) and said cap holding together radially the parts in every swivelling position, whereby the head part (7) forming the cap, evidences a cylindrical, slotted projection (10) which fits into the hollow cylindrical part (4) and by means of a conical nut (11) of a screw (13) externally fitted into the head part (7) is braced by diagonals and pressed into the hollow cylindrical part (4) and the nut (11) is secured against rotation with the screw (13).
