In a device for essentially preserving the physical integrity of persons, especially a portable protection shield for defence against attack, an effective protective effect and concealment of the protective facility is to be achieved. For this purpose, the basic shape of the shield corresponds approximately to that of a briefcase, inside which two protective plates (3, 3a) axis-parallel to one another are arranged at a distance. After the release of detent and/or catch means, these are extended upwards and downwards out of the case under a spring effect (7, 7a). This increases the effectively protected case area by a multiple. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einer Vorrichtung zum weitgehenden Erhalt der körperlichen Integrität von Personen, insbesondere einem tragbaren Schutzschild zur Abwehr eines Angriffes soll ein wirkungsvoller Schutzeffekt und ein Verbergen der Schutzmöglichkelt erreicht werden. Es entspricht hierfür der Schild in seiner Grundform etwa einem Aktenkoffer, in dessen lnnerem mit Abstand zwei zueinander achsparallele Schutzplatten (3, 3a) angeordnet sind. Diese werden nach Auslösen von Sperr- und/oder Rastmitteln unter Federwirkung (7, 7a) nach oben und unten aus dem Koffer ausgefahren. Damit vergrössert sich die schutzwirksame Kofferfläche um ein Mehrfaches.
