[origin: ES486858A1] Method and manufacture for the manufacture of a cooking vessel with a flat, thick-walled bottom and a substantially thinner casing surface, a cup-shaped blank is shaped in the casing area by a rolling process on a substantially cylindrical, rotary mould part. The rolling tool comprises a rigid outer ring and numerous freely rotatable balls revolving in a groove. The area close to the bottom of the mould part is tapered, so that a cavity is formed into which the material can be shaped in the area close to the bottom.

Zur Herstellung eines Kochgefäßes (32) mit einem ebenen dickwandigen Boden (18) und einem wesentlich dünneren Mantel (19) wird ein napfförmiger Rohling in auf einem im wesentlichen zylindrischen, drehbaren Formteil (11) durch einen Rollvorgang in dem Manteibereich (19) umgeformt. Das Rollwerkzeug (20) besteht aus einem starren Außenring (21) und zahlreichen in einer Rille (24) umlaufenden frei drehbaren Kugeln (25). Im bodennahen Bereich (14) des Formteils (11) ist dieses abgeschrägt, so daß ein Hohlraum (17) entsteht, in den sich das Material im bodennahen Bereich hineinverformen kann.
