A smoothly extendable folding door or wall consists of a plurality of slats (2, 3, 4) which are connected in an articulated manner to one another and which hang pivotally on supporting members (10) running in a ceiling guide rail (1). Between each supporting member (10) and the associated anchoring element on the slat (2, 3) there are catch means (12, 14, 15) which keep the respective slat (2, 3) tensioned in the extended closing position and preferably also in the folded-together opening position.

Eine glatt ausziehbare faltbare Tür oder Wand besteht aus mehreren gelenkig miteinander verbundenen Lamellen (2,3,4), die schwenkbar an Tragorganen (10) hängen, welche in einer Decken-Führungsschiene (1) laufen. Zwischen jedem Tragorgan (10) und dem zugehörigen Verankerungselement an der Lamelle (2,3) sind Rastmittel (12,14,15) vorgesehen, welche die jeweilige Lamelle (2,3) in der ausgezogenen Schließstellung sowie vorzugsweise auch in der zusammengefalteten Öffnungsstellung gespannt halten.
