1. Method for coating and drying of liquid lubricants (1) onto the surface of metallic materials (8) being subjected to cold working, especially of lubricants (1) consisting of an organic solvent and solid or semi-solid lubricating substance, where the material to be worked (8) is carried via openings through a closed coating vessel (2, 19), which is a part of a closed lubricant circuit, and subsequently through a drying channel (28), is characterized in that the material to be worked (8), which is heated by preceding working processes or by means of an external source for the transfer of heat or energy, is directly lead through the coating vessel without internal transport rollers, where excess lubricant (1) overflowing from the openings (5, 6, 21, 22) is collected without any contact with ambient air and air with a turbulence and/or pressure gradient intentionally generated inside the channel is sucked or blown through the drying channel (28), and from which, in the case of its enrichment by organic solvent vapours, the solvent is recovered.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf das Gebiet der Metallurgie und betrifft das Aufbringen und Trocknen flüssiger Schmiermittel (1) auf zur Kaltumformung vorgesehenem metallischem Umformgut (8), insbesondere von Schmiermitteln (1), die aus einem organischen Lösungsmittel und darin eingebrachtem festem oder halbfestem Schmierstoff bestehen. Nach der Erfindung wird das Umformgut (8) durch einen geschlosenen, mit dem Schmiermittel (1) gespeisten Beschichtungsbehälter (2) und anschließend durch einen Trokkenkanal transportiert, wobei der Beschichtungsbehälter (2) innerhalb eines geschlossenen Schmiermittel-Auffangbehälters (3) angeordnet ist und einen Schmiermittelzulauf (12) und -ablauf (13; 14) besitzt, die miteinander zur Bildung eines geschlossenen Schmiermittelkreislaufs über ein Schmiermittel-Reservoir (11) und eine Schmiermittelpumpe (10) verbunden sind. Der Trockenkanal ist mit einer Luftabsaugoder Lufteinblasvorrichtung sowie erforderlichenfalls mit einer Lösungsmittelrückgewinnungsanlage gekoppelt und mit Mitteln zur Erzeugung einer turbulenten Luftströmung und/oder von Druckänderungen entlang des Kanals ausgestattet.
