Abstract (en)
The device is arranged on a physical training apparatus having a pedal crank gear about the axis thereof (9) actuating a drum (6) braked by a shoe (7). It comprises a disc (10) driven in synchronisation with the drum (6) and a roller (11) fixed in contact with the surface of said disc (10) and driven rotatingly by said rotary disc (10). The rotation speed of said roller (11) varies on one hand with the variation of the position of the disc (10), corresponding to a variation of the position of the shoe (7) held by the spring (23), and on the other hand with the variation of the rotation speed of the disc (10) corresponding to a variation of the rotation of the drum (6). The rotation of said roller (11) is transmitted by means of a cable (14) to a speedometer (13) gratuated in power units.

Le dispositif est agencé sur un appareil de culture physique à pédalier comprenant un pédalier autour de son axe (9) actionnant un tambour (6) freiné par un sabot (7). Il comporte un disque (10) entraîné en synchronisme avec le tambour (6) et une roulette (11) fixe en contact avec la surface de ce disque (10) et entraînée en rotation par la rotation dudit disque (10). La vitesse de rotation de ladite roulette (11) varie d'une part avec la variation de position du disque (10), correspondant à une variation de position du sabot (7) retenu par le ressort (23), et d'autre part avec la variation de la vitesse de rotation du disque (10) correspondant à une variation de rotation du tambour (6). La rotation de ladite roulette (11) est transmise au moyen d'un câble (14) à un tachymètre (13) gradué en unités de puissance.
