In a cavity compound structural element, the cavity is filled with a stressed material (1) to increase the load capacity and to enhance the noise insulation characteristics, the stressed material being a material whose volume increases after the filling process in order to hold the cavity-surround (4) in tensile stress. Bei einem Hohlkammer-Verbundbauelement wird zur Erhöhung der Tragfähigkeit und zur Förderung der Schalldämmeigenschaften der Hohlraum mit einem Spannstoff (1) gefüllt, bei dem es sich um ein Material handelt, das nach dem Füllvorgang eine Volumenvergrößerung durchmacht, um die Hohlraum-Umhüllung (4) in Zugspannung zu versetzen. Zusätzlich kann der Hohlraum von einstellbaren Stütz- und Spannelementen zur Aussteifung und weiteren Vorspannungserzeugung durchzogen sein.
