Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a device for admitting additional air or gas into the idling well 20 of a carburettor when the throttle 14 is in the vicinity of the progression 24 and idling 25 ports in the partial opening position. A circuit parallel to the air calibrator 21 and terminating, for example, at a hollow adjusting screw 30 is controlled by an adjusting member 50, such as a valve, the movable shutter of which is actuated, for example, by a linkage 55 coupled to a throttle on the one hand and to a differential pressure gauge on the other hand or by means of a stepping motor 58 coupled to a pulse generator 59 controlled by a microprocessor receiving information from various sensors C1 to Cn. This device makes it possible positively to control the relative vacuum in the idling well and consequently the airflow through the calibrator and thus the flow of fuel sucked up by the nozzle, in order to keep substantially constant the richness of the mixture supplied to the engine during transitions between idling and normal running. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour l'admission d'air ou de gaz additionnel dans le puits de ralenti 20 d'un carburateur lorsque le papillon 14 est au voisinage des orifices de progressivité 24 et de ralenti 25 en position d'ouverture partielle. Un circuit parallèle au calibreur d'air 21 et aboutissant par exemple a une vis de réglage creuse 30 est contrôlé par un organe de réglage 50 tel qu'une vanne dont l'obturateur mobile est actionné par exemple par une timonerie 55 couplée d'une part au papillon et d'autre part à un manomètre différentel, ou encore par un moteur pas à pas 58 coupé à un générateur d'impulsions 59 piloté par un microprocesseur recevant des informations de divers capteurs C1...Cn. Ce dispositif permet de ontrôler de manière positive la dépression relative dans le puits de ralenti, et par suite le débit d'air à travers le calibreur et donc le débit de carburant aspiré par le gicleur pour maintenir sensiblement constante la richesse du mélange fourni au moteur pendant les transitions entre le régime de ralenti et la marche normale.
