[origin: ES487677A1] The present invention provides aryl ether derivatives of the general formula: < IMAGE > wherein A is an oxygen atom or the group >N-R1, R1 being a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl radical, R2 and R3, which can be the same or different, are hydrogen atoms or lower alkyl radicals, R4 is a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group, R5 is a hydrogen atom or an acyl radical, R7 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl radical or a lower alkanoyl radical and R8 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl radical, a lower alkoxy radical or a hydroxyl group and the pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof. The present invention also provides a process for the preparation of these compounds and pharmaceutical compositions containing them. It is also concerned with the use of these compounds for combating allergic diseases.

Arylether-Derivate der Formel <IMAGE> in der A ein Sauerstoffatom oder die Gruppe N-R1 darstellt, wobei R1 Wasserstoff oder ein niederer Alkylrest sein kann, R2 und R3, die gleich oder verschieden sein können, jeweils Wasserstoff oder einen niederen Alkylrest, R4 Wasserstoff oder die Hydroxyl-Gruppe, R5 Wasserstoff oder eine Acyl-Gruppe R7 Wasserstoff, einen niederen Alkylrest oder einen niederen Alkanoylrest und R8 Wasserstoff, einen niederen Alkylrest, einen niederen Alkoxyrest oder die Hydroxylgruppe bedeuten, sowie deren pharmakologisch verträgliche Salze. Verfahren zu deren Herstellung sowie diese enthaltende Arzneimittel zur Bekämpfung von allergischen Krankheiten.
