Abstract (en)

The arched supporting structure or skeleton is constructed by juxtaposing at least two polygonal rows consisting of successive identical elements (10), the polygons of two adjacent rows being offset angularly in order to form an outer profile substantially in the shape of a regular star. Fixing means (11) are provided in order to interlink the adjacent ends of two successive elements of the same row (B, C) and for fastening to an associated element (A) of the adjacent row subtending these two jointed elements. The connector (11) additionally comprises a receptacle (15, 15') for mounting secondary boom elements (5'). In another embodiment, the successive elements of two adjacent rows are alternately interlaced. <IMAGE>

La structure cintrée de charpente ou d'ossature est réalisée en juxtaposant au moins deux rangs polygonaux constitués d'éléments identiques successifs (10), les polygones de deux rangs adjacents étant décaiés angulairement pour constituer un profil extérieur sensiblement en forme d'étoile régulière. Des moyens de fixation (11) sont prévus pour associer entre elles les extrémités adjacentes de deux éléments successifs d'un même rang (B, C) et pour la solidarisation à un élément associé (A) du rang adjacent sous-tendant ces deux éléments jointoyés. La ferrure de fixation (11) comporte en outre un logement (15, 15') pour le montage d'éléments de membrure secondaire (5'). Dans un autre mode de réalisation, les éléments successifs de deux rangs adjacents sont alternativement entrelacés.
