1. Mine roof supporting structure, in which the rear cap (1) is supported by means of props (2) on a floor frame (3) and in which a shield (5) is pivotally linked to the rear cap and is maintained in its pivotal position by means of struts, for use in thick seams, in which the roof coal above the mine roof supporting structure is excavated and fed via the shield to a movable conveyor (11) arranged at the site of the old excavation, characterized in that the shield (5) is supported in its pivotal position against the flor-frame (3) by means of struts (6) pivotally linked to the shield (5) as well as to the floor frame (3), and in that at least one slide member (9) is guided within the shield (5) for being protruded in the direction of the shield, said slide allowing to vary the effective length of the shield (5) for guiding the roof coal.

Für das Abziehen der Hangendkohle aus dem Hochfeld weist der Ausbaubock einen an der Hinterkappe (1) angelenkten Schild (5) auf, über welchen die Hangendkohle auf den Förderer (11) geleitet wird. Der Schild (5) ist über Streben (6) am Rahmen (3) abgestützt und weist einen ausfahrbaren Schieber (9) auf, mit welchem der Zutritt der Kohle zum Förderer (11) eingestellt werden kann. Der Förderer (11) ist an den Grundrahmen zugfest angeschlossen. Die Streben (6) werden durch zusätzliche Streben versteift.
