Abstract (en)

1. A method of casing packs or cartons or the like goods, the carton (10) having placed around it a peripheral wall of corrugated board, cardboard or the like extending substantially around its entire vertical peripheral surfaces, a case being place below the carton, the carton (10) first having placed around it a first peripheral wall (12) open at the top and the bottom and engaging tightly around at least some of its substantially vertical lateral surfaces, characterized in that a second peripheral wall (24) is engaged tightly around some of the first peripheral wall (12), the peripheral wall (24) engaging only around the bottom edge portion of the vertical lateral surfaces of the pack and taking the from of a peripheral upright edge of a tray -shaped base member (20).

Verfahren zum Verpacken von Warengebinden (10) oder dergl., bei dem das Warengebinde mit einer im wesentlichen seine gesamte vertikale Umfangsfläche umgebenden Umfangswand (12) aus Wellpappe, Karton oder dergl. und einem Packungsboden (20) versehen wird, wobei das Warengebinde zunächst mit einer wenigstens einen Teil seiner im wesentlichen vertikalen Umfangsfläche straff umschließenden ersten Umfangswand umgeben wird; und daß daraufhin wenigstensein Teil der ersten Umfangswand durch eine zweite Umfangswand straff umschlossen wird, wobei eine der beiden getrennt ausgebildeten Umfangswände die gesamte Umfangsfläche des Warengebildes oder dergl. straff umschließt und die andere Umfangswand (24), lediglich einen unteren Randabschnitt der Umfangsfläche des Warengebindes oder dergl. umgebend, als umlaufender Umfangsrand eines schachteldeckelartigen, tablettartigen Bodenteiles (20) ausgebildet ist, sowie nach diesem Verfahren hergestellte Sammelverpackung.
