1. Connection means for a flat cable comprising a base portion (1) made of an insulating material and which extends transversely to the run of the cable, and an upper part (6) made of insulating material which can be secured to the base part and which has a U-shaped cross-section with longitudinal walls (7) which can be elastically bent outwards, which laterally at least partially overlap the base portion (1) and which are provided with detent apertures (9) which co-operate with correspondingly shaped counter-elements (8) of the base portion (1) in order to fix the upper part (6) to the base portion (1), and a bridge portion (4) which is provided for guiding the flat cable and which has openings (5) for the contact elements which can be connected to the individual conductors of the flat cable, characterised in that the bridge portion (4), which is formed integrally with the base portion (1) so as to form a through-extending slot (3) for the flat cable between the base portion (1) and the bridge portion (4), is divided up in honeycomb fashion by transverse and longitudinal walls (19) and at least in section (20), which is adjacent to the upper part (6) which contains the contact elements, on assembly of the upper part (6) and the base portion (1), is embraced by the longitudinal walls (7) of the upper part in such a way that, in order to form the openings (5), the transverse and longitudinal walls (19) of the bridge portion (4) are supplemented by the longitudinal walls (7) of the upper part in order to form the openings (5), and that finally, the base portion (1) and the upper part (6) can be secured to one another at upper and lower catch positions.

Eine zum Anschluß an ein Bandkabel vorgesehene Kontaktfederleiste besteht aus einem Basisteil (1) mit einem Durchsteckschlitz (3) für das Bandkabel und einem an dem Basisteil verrastbaren Oberteil (6), das mit den Kabelleitern verbindbare Kontaktfedern enthält, wobei deren Zugang zu dem Kabel im Schlitzbereich durch Durchtrittsöffnungen (15) im Basisteil ermöglicht wird, so daß das Bandkabel im Kontaktierbereich quer zu seinem Verlauf allseitig umschlossen ist und eine störungsfreie Kontaktierung des Kabels gewährleistet wird. Eine Vorverrastung des Oberteiles (6) am Basisteil (1) ermöglicht die Verbindung diese Teile, ohne daß dabei die Kontaktfedern störend in den Durchstreckschlitz des Basisteiles ragen.
