Abstract (en)
Nozzle arrangement for a weaving loom with an air-jet feed of the weft yarn into the shed. A plurality of nozzles, for example three nozzles (1, 2, 3), are connected in series and are connected respectively to one another by means of a continuous tube (15, 18). The cross-section (E) at the outflow channel (8) of a following nozzle (2) is larger than the cross-section (D) at the outflow channel (7) of a preceding nozzle (1), so that the air fed in at the second nozzle can be conveyed further together with the air coming from the first nozzle. The length of travel of the weft yarn (13) where the blowing air can act on the yarn and exert driving forces thereby becomes greater. At the same time, the possibility that air will escape between the individual nozzles into the environment is prevented, so that a compressed-air source of relatively low power can be used. <IMAGE>

Düsenanordnung für eine Webmaschine mit Luftstrahleintragung des Schußfadens in das Webfach. Es sind mehrere, z. B. drei Düsen (1, 2, 3) hintereinander geschaltet, die jeweils durch ein durchgehendes Rohr (15, 18) miteinander verbunden sind. Der Querschnitt (E) am Ausströmkanal (8) einer nachfolgenden Düse (2) ist größer als der Querschnitt (D) am Ausströmkanal (7) einer vorhergehenden Düse (1), so daß die bei der zweiten Düse zugeleitete Luft zusammen mit der aus der ersten Düse kommenden Luft weitergeleitet werden kann. Hierdurch wird die Länge des Weges des Schußfadens (13), wo die Blasluft auf den Faden einwirken und Mitnahmekräfte ausüben kann, größer. Zugleich wird vermieden, daß Luft zwischen den einzelnen Düsen in die Umgebung austreten kann, so daß eine Druckluftquelle mit relativ geringer Leistung verwendet werden kann.
