Abstract (en)
This ski boot comprises a separate shell and collar, one nested in the other. The shell (2) is articulated on the sole (1) about a first transverse axis (7) located at the front of the boot. The collar (3) is articulated to the sole about a second transverse axis, defined by two pivots (14) and located at the rear of the boot. A join between the shell and the collar thus articulated is produced by means of a movable element (15) such as a cable, wire, or cord, bearing both on the shell (2) and the collar (3), this joining element establishing a relationship between the tilting of the shell and the spacing of the collar. The sole may consist of two portions (4) and (9) articulated together about the front axis (7), in which case the boot applies to nordic skiing. <IMAGE>

Cette chaussure de ski comprend une coque et un collier indépendants, emboîtés l'un dans l'autre. La coque (2) est articulée à la semelle (1) autour d'un premier axe transversal (7), situé à l'avant de la chaussure. Le collier (3) est articulé à la semelle autour d'un second axe transversal, défini par deux pivots (14), et situé à l'arrière de la chaussure. Une liaison entre la coque et le collier ainsi articulés est réalisée par un élément mobile (15) tel que câble, fil, cordon, prenant appui à la fois sur la coque (2) et le collier (3), cet élément de liaison établissant une relation entre le basculement de la coque et l'écartement du collier. La semelle peut être constituée par deux parties (4) et (9) articulées entre elles autour de l'axe avant (7), auquel cas la chaussure est applicable au ski de randonnée.
