[origin: WO8000218A1] To separate automatically a ski shoe from a ski in case of danger, this process provides the continual integration of the forces acting on the skier's leg. If the time integral of the force measured reaches a threshold value representing the product of the force x time and exceeds the integration threshold value corresponding to the retaining force of the bindings, the bindings between the ski and the shoe break. With a view to adapting an electronic release binding to different conditions, such as skill and technique of the skier, bone structure of the skier, snow conditions, the release curve (12', 13', 14') is varied by changing the integration threshold value independently of the static release force.

Afin de separer automatiquement une chaussure de ski, du ski en cas de danger, ce procede prevoit d'integrer continuellement les forces agissant sur la jambe du skieur. Si l'integrale de temps de la force mesuree atteint une valeur seuil representant le produit de la force X temps et depassant la valeur seuil d'integration correspondant a1a force de retenue de la fixation, la liaison entre le ski et la chaussure est rompue. Pour pouvoir adapter une fixation de securite aux differentes conditions, telles que habilite et technique du skieur, structure osseuse du skieur, etat de la neige et du terrain, on varie la courbe de declenchement (12', 13', 14') en modifiant la valeur seuil d'integration independamment de la force de declenchement statique.
