In a refrigerator (1), the lower part of which is constructed as a trough, a refrigeration assembly (7), arranged in the trough, is separated by a covering (3) from a product space situated above the trough. In order to facilitate the maintenance and operability of the refrigerator (1), the covering (3) is of folding construction. Bei einem Kühlmöbel (1), dessen unterer Teil als Wanne ausgebildet ist, wird ein in der Wanne angeordnetes Kühlaggregat (7) durch eine Abdeckung (3) von einem über der Wanne liegenden Warenraum abgetrennt. Um die Wartung und Bedienbarkeit des Kühlmöbels (1) zu erleichtern, ist die Abdeckung (3) aufklappbar ausgebildet. Eine Einrichtung zur Luftförderung (8) sowie gegebenenfalls weitere in der Wanne angeordnete Bauteile können an der Abdeckung (3) befestigt sein.
