Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a plant for preparing scutched liberium fibres with a view to their spinning until a sliver thereof is formed. The plant has a dividing table which comprises an automatic device (8) dividing these fibres into uniform hanks and conveying them to a combing machine (9), itself comprising horizontal beds of combs and means for continuously feeding the combing machine with hanks of fibres to be combed and then for automatically depositing these hanks on the self-spreader (10). L'invention se rapporte à une installation pour préparer en vue de leur filature des fibres libériennes teillées jusqu'à en former un ruban. Elle est caractérsée en ce qu'elle présente une table de division qui comprend un dispositif automatique (8) divisant ces fibres en poignées régulières et les conduisant à une peigneuse (9) elle-même remarquable en ce qu'elle comprend des lits horizontaux de peignes et des moyens pour l'alimentation continue de la peigneuse en poignées de fibres à peigner et pour ensuite déposer automatiquement ces poignées sur l'auto-étaleuse (10). Application à l'industrie du lin et du chanvre.
