[origin: ES489875A1] A mining drill comprising a rail along which a mining drill head is slidably rectilinear, this rail being carried by a hydraulic motor pivotally connected to a rotary head at the end of an arm swingable about a pivot axis which is generally horizontal and is formed by a column or post. A first hydraulic motor is provided to rotate the post about a generally upright axis and hydraulic cylinders can be provided to swing the post about a pivot close to its pedestal. The device is designed to support the rail so that substantially parallel holes can be drilled in a subterranean structure in practically any direction, e.g. with any inclination to the axis of the main gallery, but especially parallel thereto.

Ce bras-support (1) permet de maintenir la glissière (2) parallèle à elle-même. Un pivot de base (4), tournant autour d'un axe vertical (OZ), est commandé par un premier vérin (7). Un bras (10, 15), articulé au pivot de base (4) autour d'un axe horizontal (W), est commandé par un second vérin (12). Un bloc-support (18) est monté tournant à l'extrémité du bras, sa rotation étant commandée par un moteur (20). Sur ce bloc est articulé un berceau (23) supportant la glissière (2) et commandé par un troisième vérin (25). Le moteur (20) et le troisième vérin (25) sont asservis aux paramètres de position résultant des mouvements commandés par les deux premiers vérins (7) et (12), par l'intermédiaire de calculateurs, de manière à maintenir automatiquement la glissière (2) parallèle à elle-même. L'invention s'applique aux appareils de foration pour l'avancement des galeries de mines et le creusement de tunnels.
