[origin: ES8104579A1] A new method to produce photographic images is provided which comprises: (a) imagewise exposing a photographic assembly which contains at least during the silver halide developing step, in order optionally a supercoat layer, at least one silver halide emulsion layer, a layer containing a substantive azamethine compound and a photobase, there being optionally one or more interlayers between each of said components (b) treating the exposed photographic assembly with an aqueous processing bath so as to provide in the silver halide emulsion layer or layers a solution or dispersion of a bleach developer compound, thereby to develop the latent silver image in the silver halide emulsion(s), and (c) in the non-latent image areas allowing the bleach developer compound to diffuse in a counter-imagewise manner from the silver halide emulsion layer (s) to the layer containing substantive azamethine compound and there to bleach the compound to form a dye image.

Verfahren zur Herstellung photographischer Abbildungen, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, da? man (a) ein photographisches Material bildweise belichtet, welches zumindest während der Silberhalogenidentwicklungsstufe in dieser Reihenfolge gegebenenfalls eine Deckschicht (7), mindestens eine Silberhalogenidemulsionsschicht (5), eine Schicht, die eine substantive Azamethinverbindung (2) enthält, und einen Träger (1) enthält, wobei sich gegebenenfalls eine oder mehrere Zwischenschichten jeweils zwischen diesen Komponenten befinden, (b) das belichtete photographische Material mit einem wassrigen Verarbeitungsbad behandelt, um eine Lösung oder Dispersion einer Bleichentwicklerverbindung in der bzw. den Silberhalogenidemulsionsschicht(en) verfügbar zu machen und dadurch das latente Silberbild in der bzw. den Silberhalogenidemulsion(en) zu entwickeln, und (c) an den Stellen ohne latentes Bild die Bleichentwicklerverbindung gegenläufig zum Bild aus der bzw. den Silberhalogendemulsionsschicht(en) in die eine substantive Azamethinverbindung enthaltende Schicht diffundieren läßt, um dort die Verbindung unter Bildung eines Farbstoffbilds zu bleichen.
