1. Portable fire extinguisher, in particular a water gun, having a projection tube (5) pivotably mounted about a vertical axis (18) and a horizontal axis (27) at a basic element (1) which is formed to be hollow, completely filled with extinguishing agents during operation and serving to supply the extinguishing agents to a projection tube (5), characterised in that the basic element (1) is a hollow annular body (17) and in that the mounting (2) of the projection tube (5) is housed within the chamber enclosed by this annular body (17) in the region of the centre of gravity (S) of the fire extinguisher filled with fire extinguishing agents, wherein the vertical and the horizontal pivot axes (18, 27) of the annular body (17) and the axis (33) of the projection tube (5) intersect at least approximately at this centre of gravity (S).

Ein im Betrieb mit Löschflüssigkeit gefüllter, im Ausser-Betriebszustand leerer, zur Zuführung der Löschflüssigkeit zu einem Wurfrohr (5) benutzter Ringkörper (17) ist als Grundkörper (1) ausgebildet und innerhalb des von diesem umschlossenen Ringraumes ist eine schwenkbare Lagerung (26) dieses Wurfrohres (5) untergebracht. Der Grundkörper (1) besteht aus einem äusseren Ringkörper (17) und einem in diesem um eine vertikale Achse drehbaren Lagerkörper (2), in welchem die horizontale Schwenkachse (27) des Wurfrohres (5) ausgebildet ist. Zweckmässig ist die Anordnung so getroffen, dass die Achse (33) des Wurfrohres (5) durch den Schwerpunkt (S) des Grundkörpers (1) geht.
