The invention relates to a film-insulated flat-strip cable, screened on both sides, having a multiplicity of parallel conductors (1 to 12), lying in a row, which are embedded between two dielectric films (13, 14) onto whose outer sides metal coatings (15, 16) are applied. The metal coatings (15, 16) extend over the dielectric films (13, 14) on at least one side where they make contact with a screening conductor (17) located outside the dielectric films (13, 14), and directed parallel to the conductors (1 to 12). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein beidseitig-geschirmtes folienisoliertes Flachbandkabel mit einer Mehrzahl paralleler, in einer Reihe liegender Leiter (1 bis 12), die zwischen zwei Isolierstoffolien (13, 14) eingebettet sind, auf deren Außenseiten Metallschichten (15, 16) aufgebracht sind. Die Metallschichten (15, 16) ragen mindestens auf einer Seite über die Isolierstoff-folien (13, 14) hinaus und berühren dort einen parallel zu den Leitern (1 bis 12) geführten, außerhalb der Isolierstoffolien (13, 14) liegenden Abschirmleiter (17).
